The Article Child Groups feature is useful for adding mandatory or optional add-ons and/or ingredients to your articles. It is especially powerful when used in webshop, but it’s also a useful tool for the POS.

Untitled

Child groups is used in situations where the customer needs to take an additional choice after the product is chosen (e.g. rare or well-done steak, extras like cheese on a burger or selecting allergy-friendly choices like gluten-free bread). It’s also possible to set up included child articles like ingredients in an article, where the customer removes the ingredients he/she don’t want. You can set the child article to be free or paid, and you can also set how many different choices that can be made for each group. It’s also possible to set groups as mandatory, so the customer must make a choice before he/she can proceed with the order.

To access child article setup, go to articles → article child groups (This module must be activated by Munu. Send an e-mail to [email protected] if it’s not active on your property)
