POS terminals are using predefined tables and there is no limit in how many tables you can add, but recommendation is to create the ones needed for your operation and some spare ones just in case

  1. How to create tables

    1. On the side menu click on “Administrasjon” (1) and then “bordoversikt” (2). After selecting the installation on top of the screen (3), a view of the tables defined for that installation is displayed.

    1. Before you can add any tables you need to create a table group. You can find table groups at the top right corner at “Rediger bordgruppe”. Select your installation before you add a new table group.

<aside> 💡 A table group will also be the sorting in the table list in the POS terminal. Therefor table groups can be used for dividing the view of available tables to e.g Outside, inside, bar etc.

    2. The sequence of the different table groups in the POS terminal will follow the sort order in right column underneath where 0 is the most far left in the table view. In the example below, table group “Inne”, “Ute”, “oppe” and “nede” is created. Remember to press “Lagre” when your’re finished

  2. Create new tables using your newly defined table groups. You will have two options to create a single table or a list of tables.

    1. “Create new table” will add a single line to the list of tables. Please fill in Nr., Navn and Bordgruppe. Nr. and navn should follow the same path, so if Nr. is 1 the table name should be “Table 1” for easier reference in the POS terminal.
    2. “Create new tables” will give an option to create several tables at once.
      1. Nr. is the number of the table. Start from 1 if it is the first table

      2. “Kapasitet” is the capacity of a table (how many seats). Optional.

      3. “Antall bord” is how many tables you want to create.

      4. “Navn” is the name of the table. #TABLE_NUMBER# will follow the sequence from Nr. From the example below the tables will be named Bord 1, Bord 2, Bord 3 etc.

      5. “Bordgruppe” is the table group you created earlier.

Add the tables by pressing “Legg til” when all the fields are correct.

If the overview of the table list looks correct press “Lagre”.

Tables with the status “Occupied” has been used at the POS terminal and can not be deleted. If you want to remove these tables, make sure their not in use on the POS terminal and remove the table group and it will not show in the POS
